Boilers

Can I still replace my old gas boiler?

Yes, you can replace your existing gas boiler but you don’t have to do this before 2025.

There is talk that only gas boilers that are ‘hydrogen ready’, i.e., they can be adapted easily and quickly to work on a 100% hydrogen supply, will be available in the future, but as yet there is not any legislation or policy changes in place for this.

Baxi is already developing a range of hydrogen ready and 100% hydrogen boilers so you can be rest assured that if the government legislates that all boilers must be hydrogen ready in the future, we will have the right boiler for you.
