Let's hear from some of Baxi's Apprentices, both past and present

An Apprenticeship at Baxi can indeed pave the way for a successful career! To give you a better idea, we spoke with some past and present Apprentices from
our marketing team. Here’s what they had to say about their experiences and future plans.

Completing my AAT Level 2 qualification has been such a great experience! It’s really boosted my confidence and helped me understand finance processes at Baxi much better. I’ve also gained a clearer picture of how different teams work together and how my role fits into the bigger picture. Overall, it’s been a really positive journey that’s helped me grow both personally and professionally, and I’m enjoying putting what I’ve learned into practice every day.

                Millie Ford

                Senior Contract Support

The training has significantly enhanced my confidence and capability in procurement. It’s deepened my understanding of strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and commercial negotiation — all of which I’ve been able to apply directly in my role. I now approach procurement challenges with a more analytical and strategic mindset, and I’m better equipped to deliver value for the business. The apprenticeship has also opened up new opportunities for career progression and has been instrumental in shaping my professional development

                Angela Bennett

                Commodity Buyer

One of the biggest reasons of why I am so happy to work for Baxi is because of the high level of training on renewable energy and the transition to hydrogen. A smaller company may not be able to offer training to such a high standard. Speaking to other engineers in the business puts my mind at ease knowing that I will be future-proofing myself and pushed as high as I am willing to go with my career.

                Liam Bate

Level 3 Domestic Service Engineer Apprentice

When I finished my A Levels, I was looking for an Apprenticeship in a variety of companies but Baxi seemed to be the perfect place to work and the right fit for me. Everybody was very welcoming and friendly and always really helpful with answers to all sorts of questions. I think I have the best of both worlds – being fully sponsored to gain a degree in my chosen subject alongside practical work experience. I am enjoying moving around the R&D department, learning a range of tasks, with good variety.

                Aisha Siddique

                Level 6 R&D Apprentice

What are we looking for from a future Baxi Apprentice?

                A positive attitude

                  Effective communication & interpersonal skills

A flexible and adaptable approach to work

A drive to develop & grow your skills and knowledge
