Baxi Air Source Heat Pumps chosen for Cambridgeshire new build development
Installation: 6 x Baxi Assure Monobloc ASHP; 6 x Baxi Assure ASHP Cylinder
Baxi Assure Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs) and Baxi Assure ASHP cylinders have been installed in six new build, off-gas grid houses in Wilburton, Cambridgeshire to provide reliable, future-proof, lowcarbon heating and hot water.
Air Source Heat Pumps have an exceptionally high seasonal co-efficient of performance (SCOP) of up to 400%. This means that for every 1kWh of electricity used to run the heat pump, you get up to 4kWh of heat output.
Baxi’s design service team worked with developer Tim Hughes and his builder Peter Axton to ensure that the design would deliver maximum heating performance. A Baxi Assure ASHP with a corresponding Baxi Assure cylinder ASHP were selected in each of the new homes to meet the property requirements. Once installed, commissioning would be carried by Baxi’s specialist heat pump engineers.
